Because the BPM is written into every filename, the folder sorts itself and you can match a break to a beat without auditioning the whole thing. The kit runs from 73 to 81 BPM, a tight band rather than a scattered drum break pack, which means any two breaks in it sit together without heavy time stretching.

What a drum break is
A drum break is a bar or two of drums on their own, with nothing else playing over the top. Producers have built whole records on four bars of drums since sampling began, and the reason is simple: a break already has feel, room and a player behind it, which is very hard to program from scratch. These are full break loops rather than one shots, so you can use them whole or cut them into pieces.

- Chop itSlice on the transients, then rearrange the pieces into a pattern nobody played. This is where a break stops sounding like a sample and starts sounding like your drums.

A drum kit is a set of individual hits: kicks, snares, hats, one shots you program yourself. A drum break kit is a set of full performances, already played, already grooving. You reach for a drum kit when you want to build a pattern, and a break when you want a feel you could not program.

Yes, the identical files under the identical licence. Every composition in the No Face, No Case sample pack ships with its own break, and this kit is those breaks sold on their own for the first time. If you already own the pack, you already have these.
How do I chop a drum break?
